Privacy Policy

• Account details. When you sign in with Google or with email and password we store your name, email address, and a Simahin account identifier.
• Optional mobile verification. If you choose to verify a mobile number, we store that number and the verification status. Verification is optional for browsing and reading.
• Profile and creative content. Artist profiles, writer profiles, write-ups, collections, books, manuscripts, images, audio, and any other content you submit.
• Activity. Follows, saves, shares, enquiries, applications, and messages you send through Simahin.
• Technical data. Basic log and analytics data such as device type, browser, pages viewed, and approximate region, used to keep the platform reliable and improve it.

The Simahin Android app requests internet access only. It does not request your location, contacts, microphone, camera, or SMS. When you upload a file, the Android system file picker hands us only the file you chose.

• To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
• To publish the profiles, write-ups, and books you choose to make public.
• To connect artists, writers, organizers, learners, and readers who use Simahin.
• To send in-app notifications, such as when a creator you follow publishes something new.
• To moderate content, prevent abuse, and respond to rights reports.

Content you publish — public artist profiles, writer profiles, write-ups on Simahin Words, and public book pages — is visible to anyone and may appear in search engines. Private drafts, manuscripts, and unpublished books stay private to your account. Contact details submitted for bookings and enquiries are shared only with the relevant organizer, artist, or the Simahin team.

Simahin Rights Protect stores a rights declaration, a timestamped proof, a content fingerprint, version history, and attribution details for the work you register. It is an authorship and attribution record maintained by Simahin. It is not a government copyright registration and Simahin does not represent it as one.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that run Simahin — hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, SMS verification, and analytics — and where the law requires it.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can edit or unpublish your content at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account and associated data, visit our account deletion page or email simahin.in@gmail.com from your registered email address and we will action it within 30 days, except where we must retain records for legal reasons.

Simahin is intended for users aged 13 and above. Younger participants may take part only through a parent, guardian, or institution acting on their behalf.
